Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Will Officially Launch on February 25th

Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ flagship smartphones will be launched on February 25, ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018.

Invitations were sent to the media to attend Samsung's Press event in Barcelona, where the South Korean phone maker will announce its newest flagship: the Samsung Galaxy S9 series of smartphones. In the invite released by Samsung, the Galaxy S9 is touted to come with “reimagined” cameras. This literally means the camera quality will be extremely good.
The specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have already surfaced in abundance. The most recent leak was the retail box picture that revealed almost everything about the flagships. It revealed that the new Galaxy S9 smartphones will sport a Dual Pixel 12-megapixel camera on the rear that will feature advancements such as ‘SuperSpeed’ camera technology, ‘Super Slow-mo’ mode, and optical image stabilization (OIS). The front camera will have an 8-megapixel AF shooter with two apertures – f/1.5 and f/2.4.

Both the phones are said to sports 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch curved-edge Super AMOLED Infinity displays respectively. They will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 in the US market and Exynos 9 Series 9810 chipset for the Asian markets. This will be paired with 4GB RAM on Galaxy S9 and 6GB on Galaxy S9+. The inbuilt storage will be 64GB and 128GB on both the devices.

The phones will be launched and unveiled on February 25 and are reported to open for pre-order the next day of its launch: February 26 with units shipping to customers on March 16.

After a tumultuous 2017, YouTube is making yet another change to its guidelines surrounding channel monetization and advertiser approval. In posts to its Advertiser and Creator blogs, YouTube details how it's changing the threshold for monetization through its YouTube Partner Program (YPP), from 10,000 lifetime views to 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time within the past 12 months. That means that small creators who already passed the previous 10,000 lifetime view milestone, but not the new goals, will be removed from the YouTube Partner Program starting February 20 and will be unable to monetize their videos in that manner.
As of yesterday, any channels that newly apply for YPP will have to pass this new threshold in order to monetize videos. On its Creators blog, YouTube explains that the new required milestones "will allow us to significantly improve our ability to identify creators who contribute positively to the community and help drive more ad revenue to them (and away from bad actors). These higher standards will also help us prevent potentially inappropriate videos from monetizing which can hurt revenue for everyone."

Why We Have Not Established A Manufacturing Plant In Nigeria – Samsungmobile

Why We Have Not Established A Manufacturing Plant In Nigeria – Samsungmobile

Samsung Electronics has said that one of the reasons for not establishing a manufacturing plant in Nigeria is because its market share in the country is not big enough.
Mr Sung Yoon, the Chief Executive Officer of Samsung Electronics Africa, made this known during an interactive session with newsmen on Thursday in Lagos.
The Samsung CEO said manufacturing a mobile phone required about 400 different components, none of which is available in Nigeria.
Yoon said that though Samsung was the leading consumer electronics company in Nigeria, its share of the Nigerian market is smaller than South Africa’s.
He said the company’s smartphone market size in South Africa is 80 percent, but is lower in Nigeria.
According to him, other issues that affect the building of a manufacturing plant in the country are infrastructure, Return On Investment (ROI) and grey market.
“We are trying to be a local company here. Building factory depends on return on investment and efficiency of the economy.
“There are lots of grey products coming into the country and this will affect the return on investment,” he said.
He said that the company had manufacturing plants in Vietnam, China, South Africa and Korea, hence, having one in Nigeria is a thing of the future.
Yoon said that Nigeria’s population of 180 million was a power for the future, a reason why Samsung wanted to be part of the corporate citizenship.
He said that annually, the company spent $16 billion globally on Research and Development (R&D), sold over 700 mobile phones every minute and over 41,000 every hour, globally.
Yoon said the company’s global vision was to inspire the world and create the future, through its innovative technologies, products and designs that enriched people’s lives and contribute to social prosperity.
He said Samsung Africa’s vision was to be the most admired brand, through partnership and profitable growth.
The CEO called on Samsung distributors and dealers to always inform the company’s of their sales drives, as these would enable it to fashion its products accordingly and improve service visibility for consumers.

Facebook Set To Roll Out Changes To It's News Feed

Facebook Set To Roll Out Changes To It's News Feed

Facebook plans major changes to news feed from media and businesses to focus on personal interactions, which may lead to people spending less time on the website, Zuckerberg said.
“As we roll this out, you’ll see less public content like posts from businesses, brands, and media.
“The public content you see more will be held to the same standard — it should encourage meaningful interactions between people,” Mark Zuckerberg wrote.

The chief executive said the Facebook community has complained of a hike in the numbers of public posts on the social network in the past two years, which has been “crowding out” the personal moments.
It would take months to introduce the changes, Zuckerberg said in the post, adding he expected people to spend less time on Facebook and some other types of engagement to go down.
The end result, he said, will likely be good for the business in the long term.

Price: AccuRadio

AccuRadio is not as well-known as other radio apps. However, it happens to be good. It boasts over 1000 radio channels to tune into. Each channel is customizable by the listener. There are unlimited skips, a rating system, and you can ban artists and songs from your station. The result is a music station that eventually only plays stuff that you like. There are some downsides. There isn't Chromecast support at the time of this writing. The servers also occasionally have some issues. However, aside from that, it's a good experience.

Google Play Music

Price: Free / $9.99 per month /

Google Play Music is a music streaming service. On top of the streaming, Google maintains a metric ton of playlists covering every genre, almost every decade, and even most moods. So if you’re looking for 90s hits, music to play at BBQs, or just a good rock and roll station, Google Play has you covered. Likely even more so than actual radio apps. People using the free version can get the radio stuff, while the music streaming and additional features come with the $9.99/month price. It's not actual radio, but it's close enough.

Price: Free / $5.99 per month / $12.99 per month

iHeartRadio is one of the most popular solutions for radio apps. It has a large selection of stations to listen to, including FM stations and iHeartRadio’s own stations mixed in. You can find playlists for almost any mood, in almost any genre, and seasonal playlists for things like Christmas or Halloween. It’s completely free to use (supported by in-streaming ads) which is another good bonus. For those who want it, iHeartRadio also comes with Chromecast and Android Wear support. You can get a slightly better experience for $5.99 per month. You can go All Access for $12.99 per month for even more additional features, including on-demand song playing.

Pandora Music

Price: Free / $4.99 per month / $9.99 per month

The venerable Pandora Radio is probably the most popular of all radio apps. The app made streaming random music mainstream and has enjoyed quite a bit of success over the years. Instead of focusing on specific stations, Pandora lets users create their own stations. You can make them around your favorite artist, music genre, or even song. Pandora does offer playlists to stream, but most people just create their own. You can also get a premium subscription to remove ads for $4.99 per month. You can also go for the full $9.99 per month for Pandora Premium and get on-demand song plays along with other features.

Radio Online

Price: Free / $4.99 per year

Radio Online is one of the more traditional radio apps. The app features hundreds of radio stations that cover all kinds of content that are ready for streaming when you want them. It includes both Internet-hosted radio as well as some FM stations that support online streaming. If you go pro, you can get some additional features, including live radio recording, a sleep timer, and more. It’s an efficient solution that does what it says it does. It's also a good option for those who want something really simple without a bunch of extra stuff.

15 best Android apps of 2018

10 best free music apps for Android

Price: Free app / $10.99-$19.99 per month

SiriusXM satellite radio was one of the first really big pushes away from the standard AM and FM radio services. It features over 150 channels, including music channels, sports channels, and the venerable Howard Stern show. There are also three subscription models to choose from based on what kind of content you want to listen to. The app is slowly getting better and seems to be stable enough now to be enjoyable. It still has problems, so don't expect a perfect experience on the app yet. It's also cross-platform with many cars that have SiriusXM built-in. It's one of the more traditional radio apps.

Price: Free / $9.99 per month

Spotify is another music streaming app that has put a larger focus on radio-style streaming over the last couple of years. On top of having genre, mood, and artist-specific stations, Spotify also curates unique lists like “Worldwide top 50” and playlists with new music you specifically haven’t heard yet. The free version gets you pretty much all of the radio features with the $9.99 subscription cost removing advertising and giving you additional features. It’s one of the best out there. It's also noting at this point that other streaming apps work well. That includes Apple Music, Deezer, and others.

TuneIn Radio

Price: Free / $7.99 per month

TuneIn Radio contains a more varied supply of radio stations that includes music of all kinds, sports, comedy, talk radio, news, and many other types of media. The free version comes with over 100,000 stations in total along with several million podcasts. If you go for the premium version, you can also get live NFL, MLB, and Barclays Premiere League games, audiobooks, and the removal of advertising. The price changes based on what region you live in, but it’s an overall fantastic radio service. It's not great for music, but it's one of the great radio apps for other interests.

XiliaLive Internet Radio

Price: Free

XiiaLive Internet Radio is not as popular as other radio apps. However, it's still full of features. On its own, it contains 50,000 live radio stations which should be more than enough for most people. There are also organizational features that let you save your favorite stations. It also includes themes, data management features, and some more power user features like adding your own radio station URL link, an equalizer, and Bluetooth options. The app comes free or paid, but the service is free to use overall.

Your local radio apps

Price: Usually free

A lot of AM and FM radio stations have gone to the Internet and broadcast both over the radio waves and over the Internet waves. Many of those radio stations have dedicated apps where you can stream their stuff 24/7 and also engage with the radio station in other ways, including social media, giveaway info, podcasts, and whatever other promotions that station may be running. To be perfectly honest, most individual station apps aren’t overly great, but they can be good enough if you just want one radio station without all of the additional stuff added in.

I will be going straight to the juice of this post, which is, How you can trade and make profit buying and selling other coins(alt coins) like ETH, ZRX, BNB, VIBE and numerous other coins using the king of coins(Bitcoin). I have written about what Binance coins trading platform is about, and how you can register and start trading on binance. Read the post here: Use Bitcoin to trade other small coins on Binance platform and make profit
After some 8 days of being introduced to trading in smaller coins, I have learnt some tricks in other to trade and make profit per time. I will be highlighting the tips below and I do hope you will enjoy the tips and also give your feedbacks in the comment section.
image of snt status price and it rise digital currency built on eth on binance.com btc exchanged for snt, monero, status, dash, dodgecoin, zcash, aion

1. Buy coins that is at the top

Blockchain technology(the idea of distributed ledger) is getting popular and can only keep getting popular. That is why we are having new new coins everyday. Now like the image above, you should buy coins that are doing fine at the top like any of the first 1-6 coins per time. This way, you can see how the coins is doing, as some can really rise at a super high rate in the long or short term, this will also ensure that you are not on the losing side.

2. Buy cheap and sell higher

Whenever you are buying or selling, there is always 2 options. You either buy or sell at the prevailing market rate or you pick any lower or higher order already available. If you want to quickly buy or sell, simply select the market price option at the top left corner of the screen of any coins you are trying to trade on, this ensure that your order get quickly filled. The second option is to select a better order on the right side of the screen that shows the buy order(green color), and sell orders(red color). This method is better because you can be able to buy at cheaper price than the current market price and also sell higher than the current market price. But in all, make sure you at least gain something before you sell off into bitcoin again. In some situation where the coins is super dropping in price, quickly sell before you lose lots of money. For example, a coin called “vibe” rose from 2$ to 8$ in between 30 minutes, now assuming you bought around 6$ and then thing start to drop to below 6$, you should quickly sell before it drops even lower.

3. Be at alert

Always be at alert especially when you have bought any of the coins. Once you have a coin in there, you should be at alert because price can shoot up at a very short or long period of time. You should check your coins

4. Invest in popular coins for the long-term

If you are the type that invest for the long-term, then I will advice you invest on popular coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, Dodgecoin, and other more popular coins. The reason is that popular coins gets customers and supports from investors than one dirty coins that nobody knows it father or mother(lol).

5. Don’t be too greedy

Don’t be too greedy to gain profit by staying in the market for too long time except you are sure of what you are doing or working with underground information about a prediction for a coin rise. When you buy and your coins is rising, at some level, you should sell out to make gains. If you stay for too long, the same coin could drop below the price you bought it.

6. Coins with lower volume of people will likely rise in price anytime

There is higher probability that a coin with a lower volume at a time will likely rise in price than the coins that has too many people and volume already. For example, when ‘vibe’ coin rose sporadically, the volume was around 965, but by the time it has peaked already and started dropping in price, the volume was already 4000+

What Happens when you Root An Android device

What Happens when you Root An Android device

meaning of rooting advantages disadvantages of rooting android phone device voids warranty of android device
Rooting android devices is also the same thing as jailbreaking an apple device and also same thing as running windows in administrator mode, it gives you access to cool features which you might not have heard of such as changing the way your device respond to certain actions you are not normally able to control, it also allows you to hide, modify, delete system applications which are not user-friendly, consume storage space and even deplete battery life quickly.
So in this article I am going to tell you most of the important things you can do and access granted to you and even some problems associated with rooting your android device.
Firstly, let’s talk about the advantages.
 Hidden features are now available and you are now granted the permission to install incompatible apps which either requires root access or does not support the make of your phone. I’ll give you examples of some apps that requires root access, apps which requires root access always have features that are much cooler than others that do not require root access because they are able to tweak the system files to give you a much enjoyable experience. The number one on the list is:
• Tasker: this cool app automates close to anything on your device, although it works without root access but with root access you can do a lot more such as toggling between 4g, 3g, 2g network when there is no good reception or changing the device CPU speed to optimize battery life and even time to turn screen on or off, over-ride alarms at a particular time. But the some of the functions listed are just some of the many thing TASKER can do and the good stuff requires root access.
• ADDFREE: This app blocks ads, it can also be used without root access but works better with root access it blocks apps and websites from displaying non-useful ads which consume a lot of data.
• SETCPU: SetCpu is an app that allows you choose from extra performance (consumes battery a lot) which is also termed OVERCLOCKING, or UNDERCLOCKING which gives you almost 3 times your battery life and an average battery life(suitable for people who do not use their phones for gaming and those who do not often make use of the internet and it is also recommended for those who make a lot of calls) by hibernating apps which are not often used and those apps that always want to run in the background.
• TITANIUM BACKUP: do you want to transfer or backup your contact in your phone memory important messages, application, application data and phone setting. When you move to a new device or reset your phone, it works without root access but requires root access to store important information you need to be transferred or backed up.

This is a list of some of the important apps you need in your rooted device, now let’s talk about 2 more advantages of rooting your device.

 You are able to set controls for many things you did not think have much importance, such as giving yourself faster scrolling speed, improved scrolling, customize your keyboard get extra themes. Rooting gives you the ability to tweak just about every corner of that device.
 CUSTOMIZE YOUR KERNEL: you must have heard a lot about kernels and thought about what its responsible for well kernel is the system application that allows user apps communicate with your hardware and having the ability to customize your kernel through rooting, gives you the ability to connect to unsupported networks through Wi-Fi tethering, faster battery charging and many more. You can customize your kernel manually or even easier with an app like kernel manager (requires root access).

Lastly, it all goes down to one thing that is total control of your device (it is not recommended to root someone’s else device). Certain manufacturers and network carriers don’t want you to have this ability, but it all boils down to one thing total control and openness and control of your device.

Remember, you can always un-root your phone but there are some disadvantages of rooting which I am not going to talk much about because they are totally avoidable.
 MALWARE: malwares are like viruses they cause your phone to misbehave, they can enter your phone when you root your phone, you can breach some security measures the manufactures put in place to ensure this does not happen when rooting. You can avoid this when you root your phone by installing a good android device anti-virus/malware.
